Once applied, our labels are designed to stay on permanently. However, if you need to remove them, you can try the following steps:
-
Place the clothing on an ironing board with the label face up, if possible. To safely heat up the label, lay the clothing flat on an ironing board with the label centered and facing up. If you don't have an ironing board, use a thin towel on a flat, heat-proof surface like a kitchen island.
-
Cut a square of parchment paper and place it over the label. Tear a piece of parchment paper large enough to cover the entire label with extra space around the edges. Lay it flat over the label.
-
Iron on the parchment paper for 10 seconds to heat up the label. Turn on your iron and let it heat up. Once hot, press it on the parchment paper for 5-10 seconds to warm the adhesive on the label. Set the iron to around 300°F (149°C). Move the iron in circular motions on the parchment paper to avoid burning the clothing or label.
-
Use a kitchen knife or tweezers to pull off the label while it’s still warm. Remove the iron and parchment paper, then immediately start peeling the label off with a dull kitchen knife, tweezers, or your fingers. Be careful not to burn yourself.
